The Chase Lane DEI Working Party has been working very hard at evaluating, implementing and reviewing any changes necessary to uphold a high level of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Chase Lane.
We are delighted to say that we have now been awarded the Silver Diversity Award!
This award recognises our relentless focus on identifying and closing gaps in children’s learning, shared values and behaviours, and strong emphasis on pupil voice.
Some highlights from our report:
"The school was able to demonstrate a strong curriculum model based on Mirrors and Windows methodology. This curriculum approach incorporated a variety of opportunities for innovative learning. This included opportunities for exploration and learning outside the classroom"
"The school has an exceptional culture around sports and focuses on ensuring all students are included and achieve. There is a focus on specialist curriculum areas like computing and digital leaders. There was breadth of offer through Computing specialty provision, Sports, Music and Language."
