Over the past few months, Hazel class have been working really hard at school. We have learnt about a number of things including rocks, forces, the Stone Age, wishing stories and instructions. We have learnt how to add and subtract as well as multiply and divide.
We wanted to share with you some of the work we have done that we have enjoyed.
Whilst studying rocks and soils, we completed a number of experiments finding out how durable different rocks are and whether they are permeable or impermeable. Here we are studying the different types of rocks.
We have also studied different soil types to see what we could find in them. We tested to see if there was any water or air in the soil too.
Whilst studying the Stone Age, we have learnt about how archaeologists found out about the past. We have tried to recreate some of these methods including researching and then making the different types of homes and examining Stone Age poo (thanks to the Year fours for making it for us when studying digestion in their Science lesson)!!
