Here are some of our completed bridges! Our penguins are safe!

20.10.17 - Bridge Building!! As part of our topic, 'The Polar Regions', we have been investigating the different types of animals that live in the polar regions and how they adapt and survive. During DT, we designed bridges for our penguins so that they could get across the icebergs without being eaten by a leopard seal. Here we are making our bridges! It was a fun and busy day as it was also our 'pink day'!!

12.10.17 - During Literacy, we learnt the story of the Three Little Pigs.  We learnt this story together, making up actions to the words to help us remember the story in order.  We then created our own masks and performed this to story to the rest of Key Stage 1 during assembly.
