History

Whilst studying the Stone Age, we have learnt about how archaeologists found out about the past. We have tried to recreate some of these methods including becoming archaeologists by excavating in the sand. Here we are being archaeologists!

In Science, we have been learning about different types of rocks including how igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks are made. We are currently trying to find our which rock will be the most suitable to make a statue of Mrs O’Mara out of. The class have been testing the different rocks to see how durable they are by scratching them. We all made a prediction based on what we already knew and we all decided that it needed to be tough, scratch-proof and nice to look at.

Here we are testing the different rocks.
