Year 4
We are Toy Designers!
This term the Year 4 children have been designing and creating simulations of computer controlled toys. They have used 2Paint a Picture to design the initial prototype, MS Word to write the Pseudocode for the programming and finally Scratch to bring their toys to life. Some of the children have also created presentations to pitch their ideas to the rest of class, we have had some fabulous results!

In year 4, the children are learning to develop an educational computer game. They have designed characters and backgrounds using Scratch, and they will be using variables, loops, IF THEN ELSE constructs, a scoring system, sound and music to create games of their own.
