The Associates of Chase Lane (ACL) is run by a friendly and enthusiastic team of parent and staff volunteers. Together we work to raise funds for the benefit of the children at Chase Lane. We help to provide extra resources, opportunities and experiences to enhance the children's learning and journey during their time here. The ACL gives pupils, their families and friends a chance to become more involved in the Chase Lane community.

Throughout the year, the ACL plan and organise fun events such as discos, our magical Christmas Grotto, quiz nights, summer fêtes and much more. These events not only create lasting memories for the children, but also help bring our school community together.

We work as a team, share ideas and give whatever time we can. There is no pressure to commit to everything – every little bit of help makes a big difference. This may be as a helper at an event, sponsorship by your Company/business, or much-needed donations for our raffles.

We would love to welcome new members with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Whether you can help at events, share skills or simply come along to meetings, you will be warmly welcomed. 

Together, we can continue to make wonderful memories for our children.

     Year 5 and 6 Quiz Night - A huge hit! 

 The children in year 5 and year 6 enjoyed a fantastic evening sharing their knowledge in teams. There were     some challenging questions, plenty of friendly competition, and lots of laughs along the way. Teams enjoyed their   snacks while putting their knowledge to the test. Everyone had a brilliant time!

   A Traditional Christmas - a visit to Santa’s Grotto

 Once again, many children enjoyed visiting Santa in his North Pole Grotto.  This year's theme was a traditional     Christmas, with lots of red and green decorations. There was even a friendly and very lively Christmas tree who   joined in with the days festivities. It was a truly magical day for all involved.

     ACL Christmas Foodbank Collection

 The generosity of Chase Lane families is becoming legendary at the Harwich Food Bank. Volunteers at the   Foodbank attended a school assembly to thank the children for their donations. A very full minibus transported   lots of essential items to the Foodbank hub where they were prepared into hampers for families in need in the   local area. The Foodbank were extremely grateful for all the donations.

     Autumn Disco

  The ACL loves putting on discos for children in year 1 up to year 6. This year's autumn disco was full of fun,   laughter and some amazing dancing.
