What is a parent forum?
A parent forum is a group of parent representatives who aim to meet once each term to discuss school related issues. It provides a valuable way to listen to your ideas and concerns and seek your views, helping to make sure the needs of our children and families are met.
It seeks the views of parents to develop a stronger partnership, by improving understanding through communication.
Examples of the types of issues which might be discussed:
What are the aims of the forum?
To support the school, education and welfare of our children and staff, give and elicit feedback, express concerns and share good practice.
Engage in structured dialogue with stakeholders by providing the opportunity for the parent voice to be heard.
ALL parents are welcome to contribute to the parent forum.
